Position Overview: The Restaurant Operations Transition Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the seamless transition of newly acquired restaurant locations into our operational framework. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including new General Managers, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure that all systems and processes are effectively integrated. Key Responsibilities: System Integration: Reach out to newly acquired businesses to gather necessary information for system transitions, including bank accounts, payroll, and POS systems. Ensure that all operational systems are aligned with company standards and protocols. Vendor Coordination: Contact existing vendors to establish ACH (Automated Clearing House) terms where applicable. Facilitate the transition of vendor payments to the new bank account, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the new General Manager and other key team members during the transition process. Provide regular updates and support to ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the transition. Training and Support: Assist in training the new GM and staff on updated systems and processes as needed. Address any questions or concerns that arise during the transition period. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to the transition process. Provide post-transition reports to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred but not required Experience in restaurant operations, management, or a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams. Knowledge of Gusto, 7shifts, margin edge, and toast a PLUS Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of ACH payment processing and vendor management is a plus. Work Environment: This position may require occasional travel to new restaurant locations and the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate transition schedules, but will mostly be remote from home, with the possibility of growth and salaried options as well.
