We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Consultant to provide part-time assistance. The consultant will support the organization’s technical infrastructure, including hosting and email management, and ensure smooth operation of cloud-based tools. Key responsibilities include ongoing technical support for a small U.S.-based virtual team, Microsoft Office 365 administration, troubleshooting, and user support, as well as overseeing a potential hosting platform migration. The Center operates fully remotely with a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy; team members are expected to use secure and up-to-date personal devices for their work. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Manage and maintain digital infrastructure, including domain and hosting configurations, email services, cloud-based platforms, and systems security / firewall maintenance. 2. Administer and provide help desk support for Microsoft Office 365 accounts, including user setup, security management, and troubleshooting. 3. Provide monthly Q&A sessions for team members on best practices for Microsoft Office. 4. Oversee the transition to a new hosting platform, ensuring minimal disruption to website functionality, email, and shared drive operations. 5. Support hosting and email migration, including DNS configuration, security settings, and troubleshooting. 6. Deliver weekly progress updates to ensure transparency on technical initiatives. 7. Provide timely technical troubleshooting, with an expected response time of within 24 hours for urgent issues and within 48 hours for routine support requests. Qualifications: • Proven experience managing hosting platforms such as GoDaddy, Bluehost, or AWS. • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office 365 administration, including user management and security settings. Proficiency in both Windows and Mac operating systems. • Demonstrated ability to manage technical transitions, including hosting platform and email migrations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff. • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while collaborating as needed. • Preferred: Experience providing IT support for nonprofits or small businesses. • U.S.-based candidates preferred to align with team time zones.
