We are looking for a skilled web developer with experience in 3D visualization and point cloud rendering to build a web-based portal for displaying LiDAR scan data. The platform should allow users to visually explore 3D point clouds representing material volumes in large storage bins. Users should be able to filter and compare scans by location and date while also viewing key metrics such as volume, date, time, and mass. • 3D Point Cloud Visualization: Display LiDAR scan data in an interactive web-based viewer with rotation, zoom, and pan controls. • User Authentication: Secure login system for different users to access data. • Scan Filtering & Selection: Allow users to view scans by location, date, and time, and compare multiple scans side by side. • Metadata Display: Show relevant scan data (volume, date, time, mass) as text overlays. • Multi-Scan Comparison: Enable users to overlay or toggle between multiple scans from different timestamps. • Responsive UI: Ensure smooth performance and usability on desktop and mobile browsers. Preferred Skills & Experience: • Experience with 3D web visualization libraries • Strong background in LiDAR or point cloud processing for web applications. • Proficiency in web development • Familiarity with cloud-based storage and databases for managing large datasets. • Experience with secure user authentication • Understanding of GIS or geospatial data processing is a plus. Deliverables: • A functional web-based portal with all required features. • A simple, intuitive UI for non-technical users. • Documentation for system use and maintenance.
