Overview: We are a multi-trade company offering HVAC Installation, HVAC Service, Electrical, and Plumbing. Our revenue is divided into commercial and residential, but this project will focus only on residential customers, who make up the majority of our business. Using Service Fusion (CRM) and QuickBooks, we would like to analyze the lifetime value of new residential customers who first used our HVAC Service in 2022. You may have to use API access to get the information you need. We have a programmer who can grant you this API access. Key Questions to Answer: Customer Count How many new residential customers came to us through HVAC Service in 2022? Initial Revenue What was the initial revenue generated from these customers during their first HVAC Service interaction? Repeat Usage by Trade How many additional times did these customers use our company (after the first visit) through: HVAC Service HVAC Installation Plumbing Electrical Follow-Up Revenue by Trade How much additional revenue did we generate from these customers in each trade (after the first visit)? HVAC Service HVAC Installation Plumbing Electrical Total Revenue (combined) Average Customer Lifetime Value (To Date) What is the average total revenue per customer (as of now) for this 2022 HVAC Service cohort? Deliverables: A detailed explanation of the methodology and logic used to arrive at each number. A breakdown of the data for internal review, including filters, definitions, and criteria used. A backup Excel file or report with raw or exportable data from Service Fusion and/or QuickBooks that allows us to double-check your work.
